Mannequins

Mannequins, like in Skyrim, can showcase armor and clothing you equip on them.

They only accept certain items in their inventory, and if you put in items that are not accepted, they will be returned to your inventory.

They only equip armor and clothing. No weapons, shields, or rings and jewelry (to avoid losing track of items that would be hard to see on them)

Note: If you want to have fancier mannequins, but don't care about the collection system, check out the great mod Reznod Mannequins.

You can also change their gender at any time.

To create mannequins, make sure to place the activator called ODOSMannequinMarker, not the NPCs. Place them in your cell, make them Persistent References, and parent them to a Room Marker

Mannequin Activator

Filtering Mannequins

Mannequins can be filtered to only accept specific items. All you need to do is place the items you want to filter for in your cell, and parent them to the mannequin activator. If the item is a leveled item (several versions of the same item), place and parent each version to the mannequin.

The items used as filters will be automatically sent to a reference holding cell when the player first enters the cell, to avoid cluttering with extra items.

Filtering mannequins automatically makes them part of the collection system (see Collection System).

Note: Mannequin filtering accepts one item for each body slot (i.e. Head, Upper Body, Lower Body, Hands, and Feet). If you want to filter for an item that fills several slots (like robes, which uses upper and lower body, or the Arena Armor that uses all slots except the head), then make sure to not have other item filters that also fill those slots.

In the example of the Arena Armor, which uses Upper Body, Lower Body, Hands, and Feet, you should only add a Head item filter, and the Mannequin is full.
